CANADA’S FIRST DOMESTIC PRODUCER OF FREEZE-DRYING APPLIANCES

New Energy Efficient, High Capacity and Quality Made Canadian Freeze Dryer

Lethbridge, Alberta, December 28th – Peak and Prairie Industries is proud to announce their first generation of home-based freeze-drying appliances is heading to Canadian & US markets in 2023. Having heard and researching the frustrations from current freeze dryer community, Peak and Prairie, through our two years of intensive research and development, has created a new freeze dryer that addresses consumer concerns and is providing enhanced features for energy efficiency, quality control, and food quality with our new larger capacity appliance.

“Canada does not have a home-based freeze-drying appliance of this size in the market” said Kailyn Slenders, CEO of Peak and Prairie Industries. “This new technology provides an opportunity for home and business users to create new streams of income and food security with a quality made Canadian appliance. With no other domestic producer of this technology, the cost of importing or purchasing a machine can be a prohibitable expense. We believe that Canadians should have access to this technology at a reasonable price. Our goal is to change how we see and use food preservation so that we can nurture healthier lifestyles, reduce food waste and food transportation costs, and create economic and social opportunities for Canadians and beyond.”

The D-Freeze Freeze Drying system will provide commercial level components, efficient electrical operations and use, significantly higher batch processing sizes, new patent pending control elements, and above all, the highest standards for safety and quality control. Appliances will be made available in 2023 and interested consumers can join a pre-order list or newsletter for more information. More information on the appliance can be found on the website www.d-freeze.com in the new year, or on our parent website, www.peakprarie.ca.
